Sharif - LIVE Acoustic

Sharif - who is currently earning his Masters at the Berklee College of Music - has made quite a name for himself on the charts and on the touring front. Vacillating from playing intimate solo acoustic shows of his original material to belting out cover tunes (from Rihanna's "Disturbia" to Maroon 5's "Won't Go Home Without You" to Beastie Boys "Girls") at biker bars to playing one of his favorite genres of music, oldies, at retirement centers (because he wants to, not because he has to) to corporate gigs for Gap and Amstel Light to opening for the likes of Jason Mraz, Kenny Loggins, Rhett Miller, Rusted Root, and Blake Shelton.

"Music consumes me," explains Sharif, who has approximately 2,000 shows around the world under his belt. "I just love playing music, teaching music, learning more about music, and doing whatever I can to get there."

Music Connection magazine named Sharif one of the top unsigned artists in the US, while Kisses and Lies landed on many year-end best-of lists. Also, “Another Wasted Rose” received an honorable mention in the Billboard World Song Contest while “Dark Side of the Dawn” charted on the national FMQB charts. Sharif has also worked with legendary songsmith Desmond Child, landed endorsement deals with 10 major companies (including Gibson Guitars, Taylor Guitars, D'Addario Strings, and Red Bull), and garnered press accolades such as Vintage Guitar magazine calling his last release "an often moving, overwhelmingly pleasing, well-constructed album."

Shane Gamble - LIVE Acoustic

KEEP 124.jpg

A Maryland native, Gamble embodies what it means to be a working musician. Shane attacks his guitar with passion and sings jangly songs about the good times with a distinctly American feel. Close your eyes and imagine if Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen were to emerge now on Country radio, then added a modern twist... that's Shane.

In 2013, Shane enjoyed the success of his debut album and the Top 10 single, “Turn My Way,” a pop/country tune that is equal parts punchy and poignant. Thanks, in part, to "The Highway," the groundbreaking SiriusXM country music channel, Shane has been able to crash the party as an independent artist, garner new fans across the globe, and make a splash in the music industry crowd.

Shane has come a long way since his humble roots in rural Maryland, and shows no signs of slowing down. He remembers vividly when he slept in his car on lunch breaks while working as a substitute teacher. “I was playing shows at night, sometimes 300 to 400 miles away, somehow I’d pull it together to teach during the day. Now I can sing about those trying times.”

Take one look at Shane – tousled hair, a worn denim shirt, leather boots, and an acoustic guitar slung across his shoulders – and you know that he believes in what music can do for the mind and the spirit.

Justin Suede - LIVE Acoustic

Justin Suede is a six string slingin’ wanderer who’s sure of where he’s headed and searching for the way. His lifelong quest to find himself as an artist brought him to Nashville in 2018.

When he wasn’t playing downtown or featuring at a festival, he was crafting his original work through the long hours of the night. Heavy, dark, and whiskey aged stories - belted with conviction through the voice of a weathered soul.

Justin is currently performing through his once home state of Virginia.

Emma G - LIVE Acoustic

Emma G is no ordinary musician. With a mission to “save the world one song at a time”, the New Zealand-born “New Zealander of the Year Local Hero” singer-songwriter was just 4months old when she was diagnosed with a rare health condition called hydrocephalus. 10 brain surgeries, and 24 surgeries in total later; Emma G found that singing her truth was a powerful and effective tool to not only understand and process her condition, but to also connect with and empower her audiences around her.

Emma G - now based in Washington DC - is rewriting the definition of what it means to be a musician. Pivoting her business considerably through the COVID pandemic, the singer, songwriter also established herself as an author, podcaster, and youth empowerment coach; using the power of melodies, lyrics and media presence to hammer home messages of radical compassion, strength, healing, truth and love with a soul-pop/rock sound that is engaging, inspiring and appealing to a hugely diverse audience.

With an eclectic sound that can be likened to a combination of Pink, Natalie Merchant, Alanis Morrisette and Gwen Stefani; Emma G has released three live albums and is also currently writing her second book.

Justina Beth-El - Live @ The Renegade

Justina Beth-El had a passion for writing raw, uncensored lyrics and emotive melodies from an early age. She followed her passion through any musical outlet available to her leading her to launch her professional music career in 2015 as the lead singer, songwriter and arranger for the DC area band, L.A.T.O.

After a variety of successes with L.A.T.O.  in the DC area - performing at The Kennedy Center, winning the Mid-Atlantic Battle of the Bands, touring the east coast, and recording her first album - Justina Beth-El relocated to Los Angeles.  Leaving her band behind, she was forced to pick up her guitar again and return to her roots as a singer/songwriter, ultimately transforming her music into a more open and vulnerable experience.

After performing at some of the most acclaimed venues in the LA area for up-and-coming artists  - The Hotel Cafe, The Viper Room, The Mint, and several others - she returned to the DC area to continue making waves in the DC music scene.

One of the most notable elements of Justina Beth-El's performances is how heavily she leans into her audience. She believes that every performance is an intimate conversation with a group of mostly strangers. For that reason,  every performance is a new experience that cannot be replicated and an opportunity to really connect with people in an unconventional way. This is what she lives for, and she invites you to join the conversation.
